Installation is performed from both sides, without mechanical damage. The sliding mounting system allows for thermal expansion and contraction, and the anti-slip clips at the bottom of the panel control the direction of expansion. The 25mm concealed adhesive joint system is aesthetically pleasing and self-cleaning. After fabrication, the inner and outer panels and the honeycomb structure form a unified whole. Furthermore, the hollow honeycomb structure significantly reduces the panel's thermal expansion.

 

Due to its excellent properties such as high wind pressure resistance, shock absorption, sound insulation, heat insulation, flame retardancy, and high specific strength, honeycomb material has been used in various civilian sectors abroad since the 1960s, and its development has been rapid. In my country, honeycomb technology has only recently been applied in various sectors of civilian industry. Aluminum honeycomb panel curtain walls, with their advantages of light weight, high strength, and high rigidity, have been widely used in the exterior wall decoration of high-rise buildings. Aluminum honeycomb panels with a total thickness of 15mm and both the panel and base plate being 1.0mm thick weigh only 6kg/㎡. A honeycomb panel with the same rigidity weighs only 1/5 of an aluminum single-layer panel and 1/10 of a steel plate. The interconnected aluminum honeycomb cores act like countless I-beams, with the core layers distributed and fixed throughout the entire panel, making the panel more stable. Its wind pressure resistance far exceeds that of aluminum composite panels and aluminum single-layer panels, and it is also characterized by its resistance to deformation and excellent flatness. Even with large cell sizes, the honeycomb panel can achieve extremely high flatness, making it the preferred lightweight material in the construction industry.
