The core is an aluminum hexagonal honeycomb structure with a low density (approximately 3-7 kg per square meter), weighing only 1/5 of a wooden board of the same thickness and area, 1/6 of glass, and 1/7 of aluminum, significantly reducing building load and cost.
Because the interlayer contains a large amount of air, it provides sound insulation (air sound insulation up to 30dB) and heat insulation (thermal resistance up to 0.02 (㎡·K/W)). It contains no flammable materials, achieves a fire rating of B1, is waterproof, moisture-proof, and releases no harmful gases. It has a high specific strength and high specific stiffness per unit mass (structural stiffness 1.7 times that of ribbed panels), is not easily deformed, and completely overcomes the shortcomings of other decorative panels such as deformation and collapse in the middle when the single area is large. It is easy to process and apply, and can be cut and folded at will. The fluorocarbon coating on the surface can ensure the product's lifespan of more than 30 years. The aluminum honeycomb panel has extremely high flatness and good seismic performance, weighing only one-eighth of glass curtain walls. A 22mm thick standard component can withstand a load of more than 700 kgf when simply supported at 1 meter with a deflection of 10mm.
